Tips for editing your site.

1. Get all required passwords and settings.
2. Use an FTP program to download your site locally. This will copy your web site files to your local PC.
3. If the web site design was done correctly, the pages in your site should have file names that make good sense. For example "Title.htm" would be the title bar of your site.
4. Now edit your site locally. This can be done with any web site editing tools. There are a lot of free editing tools for you to use. Web page files are just plain text files. Each file in your site can be edited using just a text editor like Windows Notepad. If you are just changing text this is a good way to go. If you wish to reformat the display of any page this will require you to have a working knowledge of HTML
5. Once the files have been edited and saved, you can now upload them to your FTP site.
